Our container candles are hand-poured and made from “coconut wax” – which is a blend of hydrogenated coconut oil and another plant-based wax (either soy or rapeseed oil). Coconut wax is considered one of the friendliest types of wax because it doesn’t produce as much soot as the other types of wax.
Candle safety:
There’s a special beauty and tranquility to candles, but a lighted candle is also an open flame, and a potential fire hazard if not carefully monitored. When lighting a candle, always follow these basic rules:
1) Never leave a burning candle unattended – and do not burn for more than 4 hours.
2) Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire.
3) Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
